Gabriella Wyke, Visual Storyteller

Gabriella Wyke (@gifts_from_gab) is a visual storyteller. Her mediums of choice include drawing, painting, graphic design, sculpting, and most lauded- photography. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned her photography degree, Wyke uses her skill to address social issues, while smashing stereotypes and portraying people in their truest form.

In 2020 she won the Fujifilm Students of Storytelling competition with her documentary series “The Letter”. In this series she presents Black men in candid, everyday scenes.

“Instead of giving the viewer an extraordinary perspective of who the Black man is, I want to show people how human he is.”
